Hot and not

Saskatoon -- In Jane Taber's Notebook of Jan. 12, Alberta Liberal Party president Adam Campbell was described as David Orchard's friend. In fact, he was a political acquaintance. They both supported Stéphane Dion's leadership candidacy. Mr. Campbell wrongly states that Mr. Orchard was "fully aware" that Mr. Dion might appoint an aboriginal woman as the Liberal candidate in the northern Saskatchewan riding of Desnethé-Missinippi-Churchill River. Mr. Orchard was neither consulted nor informed about the appointment, until it was offered and accepted.
