Doing the right thingMore than 100 Canadians risked up to 10 years in jail
						each by raising enough money to fly Abousfian Abdelrazik
						home from Sudan, where he has been a virtual prisoner in
						the Canadian embassy for about a year. In spite of the fact that he has never been charged
						with a crime, Abdelrazik, a Canadian citizen, remains on
						the United Nations terror list at the request of the
						United States. Canada's sweeping anti-terror laws forbid
						Canadians to give money to anyone on the terror list. But the donors have done the right thing, making up
						in some small measure for the disgraceful behaviour of
						the Canadian government that seems to have thrown up
						every obstacle it could think of to block Abdelrazik's
						return to Canada.
